Behind Simcoe by Andy Tucker

Behind Simcoe is an original 19 x 23 inch acrylic painting on canvas by Canadian artist Andy Tucker, incorporating natural tree bark and wood materials into the artwork and frame. Inspired by a house located behind the artist's parents' former home, the piece captures a familiar residential landscape with a strong focus on light, shadow, and the surrounding trees.

Real tree bark is incorporated into the trees within the painted scene, creating a unique connection between the natural landscape and the artwork itself. One side of the frame is constructed using natural bark, while carefully arranged sticks extend into the composition to create a striking three-dimensional foreground tree effect.

Combining traditional acrylic painting with natural materials, Behind Simcoe is a distinctive piece of Canadian mixed media art that blends painting, sculpture, and organic textures.

This original Canadian artwork is available for purchase and is ideal for collectors looking for mixed media paintings, Canadian landscape art, acrylic paintings, nature-inspired artwork, wood and bark art, textured wall art, and unique handmade artwork.
